Player guide

Spawn, customize, save, and organize vehicles from the compact menu.

Open Vehicle Hub with F9 or /vehiclehub by default. Server owners can rename the command or change its default key; your own FiveM keybind takes priority.

Controls

InputAction
Mouse wheel / Up or DownMove the selected row
Left-click / EnterSelect
Right-click / BackspaceGo back
Left or RightAdjust a value; wrap around at either end

Controller navigation is also supported. Mouse clicks act on the selected option anywhere on screen; hovering does not move the selection. You can keep moving, driving, and looking around while the compact menu is open. The organizer and text inputs use normal mouse/keyboard focus.

Spawn vehicles

Favorites appears at the top, followed by Spawn by model, Spawn inside vehicle, and Replace previous vehicle. The built-in vehicles are grouped by class under GTA Vehicles. Addon folders depend on your server's catalog.

  • Use Spawn by model to enter a GTA or addon spawn code.
  • Spawn inside vehicle places you in the new vehicle when enabled.
  • On foot, a vehicle spawns at your position. When replacing your current vehicle, it uses the current vehicle's position. If you keep the current vehicle, the new one spawns in front instead.
  • Replacement carries movement into the new vehicle. There is no configured spawn cooldown, but the current spawn must finish before another starts.

A first-use addon may need time to load or download. Unavailable models show a lock/unavailable state. Restricted folders cannot be opened without the required permissions.

Favorites

Highlight a vehicle and press Right to open its actions, then choose Add to favorites. Favorites refer to catalog or personal entries and are saved for your account. They do not bypass permissions or make an unavailable model spawnable.

Select a favorite to spawn it. Press Right for its actions or to remove it. A removed or unavailable source entry can remain in Favorites until you remove the reference.

Current vehicle

Most current-vehicle actions require the driver seat; passengers can use seat switching. Use the grouped submenus for supported mods, performance upgrades, paint, liveries, wheels, lights/neon, extras, doors, and windows.

  • Left/right previews supported choices immediately.
  • Unsupported options are disabled. Custom vehicles can expose fewer working modifications than base-game vehicles.
  • Doors and windows include Open all/Close all or Roll all down/up actions at the top when supported.
  • The plate text editor accepts up to eight letters, numbers, or spaces. Plate styles depend on the game build.
  • Repair, wash, dirt, engine controls, and a confirmed delete action are available from the vehicle menu.

Customization affects the live vehicle. Saving or updating a personal preset is a separate action. Deleting or replacing a vehicle can affect passengers; another occupant does not protect the vehicle from these actions.

Save a vehicle

  1. Sit in the driver's seat and open My vehicles.
  2. Choose Save current vehicle at the top of the menu.
  3. Complete the compact save form in the menu.

Personal saves include the vehicle model and supported appearance/modification settings. Select a saved entry for its actions. Choose Update from current vehicle to refresh its configuration without opening the organizer; confirm the update when prompted. Its name and folder stay the same.

Organize library also stays at the top of My vehicles. Use it for folders, moving entries, bulk edits, imports, and exports. Changes made there require Save changes.

Settings

Open Settings → Menu settings for alignment, size, and navigation sounds. These apply to all menus using FS-Lib on the server.

Open Settings → Vehicle Hub for:

Mileage unitsMilesDisplay miles or kilometers; stored mileage stays in kilometers.
Engine always onOffKeeps the driver vehicle's engine on, overriding manual engine-off while enabled. Does not repair a destroyed engine.
Show vehicle healthOffShows engine/body percentages while driving; hides on exit, death, or pause.
Default radio stationLeave unchangedApply the selected station on entering the driver seat or changing this setting. You can still change stations manually afterward.
No bike helmetOffPrevent automatic helmet use.
Flash highbeams on hornOffFlash while honking and restore the previous highbeam state on release.
Keep vehicle cleanOffKeep dirt and decals off the driver vehicle.

More current vehicle controls

SectionWhat you can do
Vehicle utilitiesFlip upright, start/stop the alarm, or move to the next empty seat. Passengers can switch seats too.
Tire controlsRepair all tires, burst all tires, or change a named tire individually. A checked tire is punctured.
Vehicle damageDestroy the engine. Repair vehicle restores it.
Special optionsToggle vehicle god mode, freezing, or invisibility when the server allows them.
AircraftDisable turbulence, refill/deploy flares, and refill/drop plane bombs on supported aircraft.

Destroy engine and Burst all tires open a small confirmation that starts on Cancel. Occupied seats are skipped. Most controls require the driver seat; passengers only receive seat switching. Unsupported or restricted controls show a lock with an explanation.

God mode, freeze, invisibility, and turbulence suppression are temporary. They restore when disabled or you leave the driver seat and are not saved in presets. Invisibility preserves occupants' visibility. Turbulence returns to the normal native multiplier of 1.0.

Flares and bombs are available by default to players allowed by AircraftOptions. Vehicle Hub handles them through its Aircraft menu, with 20 flares or 50 bombs per refill. Each physical aircraft has a separate count shared by whoever drives it. Releasing consumes one and requires being airborne. The vehicle must expose the appropriate loadout slots, and its game build must include the projectile assets. Ammo is not saved in presets and resets when the resource restarts.

Flares release GTA flare projectiles; guaranteed homing-missile diversion is not implemented. Bombs use standard explosive aircraft projectiles. These are Vehicle Hub features: vMenu lists its corresponding flare/bomb permission names as unused placeholders.
