Organize vehicles
Edit shared and personal libraries with folders, permissions, and bulk actions.
Open /vehiclehubadmin for the shared catalog, or My vehicles → Organize library for your personal library. The same editor layout supports both. Shared edits require the configured admin ACE.
Folders and navigation
The sidebar starts with every folder collapsed. Click an arrow to expand a branch or the folder name to open it. Opening a folder reveals its branch automatically.
In the main list, double-click a folder to open it. The .. row stays at the top when a parent exists; double-click it to go up. Sidebar collapse state is only a display preference and is not exported.
Create a folder with Folder + or a vehicle entry with Vehicle +. Select an entry to edit its name, description, spawn code, or supported settings in the details panel. Search matches names and spawn codes.
Move and reorder
- Drag a folder or vehicle onto another folder to move it inside.
- Drop onto the sidebar to use a folder that is not open in the main list.
- Drag onto
..to move an entry up one level. - Drop near a row's upper/lower edge to reorder around it.
- Use Move to… when you prefer choosing a destination.
Collapsed folders accept drops. The editor prevents moving a folder into itself or one of its descendants.
Select several entries
Use row checkboxes, Ctrl-click, or Shift-click. The selection toolbar lets you move, duplicate, or delete the selection. Drag a selected row to move the group together.
Selecting a folder and its children processes that subtree once. Each bulk edit is one undo step. Duplication creates new entries rather than linking them to the originals.
Saved configurations
Capture current vehicle adds the current driver vehicle with its configuration. Select an existing vehicle and use Update from current vehicle to replace its stored configuration. Personal saves also offer this action in the compact menu.
ACE permissions
In the shared catalog, set an entry's ACE permission to restrict it. Leaving it empty does not remove restrictions inherited from parent folders. Restricted folders show a lock and cannot be opened by players without access.
For example, set a department folder's ACE to vehiclehub.police, then grant it to your existing police group:
add_ace group.police vehiclehub.police allowVehicle Hub also checks restricted model access for manual spawning and personal saves. Restrictions from repeated occurrences of the same model accumulate; adding an unrestricted copy does not bypass a restricted one. Catalog-admin access does not automatically grant access to restricted vehicle models. The model blacklist still applies.
Review imported ACE names before publishing. Vehicle Hub uses the exact imported name and does not translate another menu's permission system automatically.
Catalog health check
The admin organizer's Health check scans the current draft for:
- Models unavailable in the current game/build/resource setup.
- Duplicate spawn codes.
- Empty folders.
Select a finding to open the relevant entry for editing. A duplicate can be intentional, such as the same model in two categories. The check does not delete, rewrite, or download anything automatically.
Save changes
Edits stay in a draft until Save changes. Undo and redo cover the latest 20 draft changes. Importing also stays in the draft until saved.
If another admin saves a newer catalog, your draft is kept. Export your draft before reloading if you need to preserve it, then review the latest version. A failed save does not discard your draft. A successful save applies immediately; you do not need to reload after your own save.
