FS-PieDash (Preview)

Pre-release setup notes for the upcoming pizza-delivery resource.

Upcoming product

The public catalog lists PieDash as coming soon. These notes describe the current local 0.9.2 source, not a promise that a downloadable release is available or that its final settings will be identical.

Start Here

  1. When a supported release is available, use its built resource and matching setup notes.
  2. Start oxmysql and FS-Lib, and use game build 3258 or newer.
  3. Configure money handling and station locations before taking player orders.

Expected result for the current source: /piedash opens the built-in app, a configured station offers delivery work, and completed orders use the chosen payment adapter.

Installation

The current manifest requires oxmysql, FS-Lib and game build 3258. OneSync is required for the placed-pizza-box distance and routing-bucket checks. Use the built release folder rather than the source tree; it includes NUI, streamed pizza assets and data files.

Configure the oxmysql database connection before starting. Current server/earnings.lua creates fs_pizza_delivery_earnings automatically with CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS on startup; the database user must be able to create and read/write that table. No separate earnings SQL import is needed for this source version. Check server errors before accepting orders.

The built-in app needs no phone resource. Phone, CAD, inventory and hunger integrations are separate choices; do not install all providers just to get started.

Configuration

Edit configuration/config.lua in the installed resource. Server adapter files for money, inventory and hunger are alongside it.

SettingCurrent defaultMeaning and when to change it
Config.App.CommandpiedashOpens the built-in app. Change only to avoid conflicts.
Config.Admin.CommandpiedashadminStation/location administration. Requires piedash.admin by default.
Config.Job.DeliveryVehicleblistaIssued delivery vehicle. Custom vehicles need suitable roof/topper and loading-point adjustments.
Config.Job.MaxActiveOrders5Maximum active delivery orders. Lower for a simpler delivery workload.
Config.PlayerOrders.OrderPrice35Default pizza price when no per-size override exists. Adjust for your economy.
Config.MoneyFramework.FrameworkautoMoney provider selection. Use a supported explicit adapter when automatic selection is unsuitable.
Config.Cad.EnabledfalseOptional CAD integration. Leave off without a configured provider.
Config.Locations.Filedata/locations.jsonSaved stations and delivery stops. Back up before updates.

Example economy changes, applied to the existing config:

Config.PlayerOrders.OrderPrice = 25
Config.Job.MaxActiveOrders = 3

Usage

  1. An authorized admin opens /piedashadmin to manage stations and delivery stops.
  2. Open /piedash and use a configured station to begin delivery work.
  3. Follow loading and handoff prompts for your assigned orders.
  4. Customers use /orderpizza; personal order-menu preferences use /pizzasettings.

NPC orders and player orders are enabled by default. The AI driver is enabled for periods with no real drivers on duty. Card orders charge upfront; cash orders collect at delivery in the current configuration.

Troubleshooting

No station or delivery work is available

Check saved locations, startup errors, required resources and the configured interaction provider. The app command alone does not create a station.

Payments fail

Check the selected money adapter and account names. Do not accept live orders until charging and refunds have been verified on your server.

A custom vehicle's roof sign or loading point is misplaced

The supplied topper offsets target the Blista. Adjust the configured offsets for the actual model rather than assuming every vehicle shares its dimensions.

Locations disappear after an update

Restore your own data/locations.json backup. Placed pizza boxes are temporary and do not persist through resource/server restarts in this source.
