Troubleshooting guidance for FS-chat.
Plain messages disappear
This is the default behavior: Config.SuppressNonCommandMessages is true. Use a recognized command or change the setting.
Two chat windows appear
Check for another resource providing the chat UI and resolve the overlap.
The custom-command editor is denied
Grant the configured CustomCommandEditorAce and check that the player belongs to that group.
Information to include when asking for help
Record your installed resource version, the exact command/action, the symptom, the relevant config values and the matching client/server error. Remove credentials, webhook URLs and player identifiers from shared logs. Start with the symptom checks above so the report identifies which step failed.
